Sahara Las Vegas Parking Fees & Parking Garage

Sahara Las Vegas’s parking facilities went through a few upgrades in May 2024. Due to the technological and structural modifications, many started speculating that the resort was soon to introduce paid parking. Who can blame them? Many other resorts have been doing away with free parking soon after renovations.

However, Sahara Las Vegas took to social media to assure their visitors: “You may have noticed the upgrades to our parking garage at the all-new SAHARA Las Vegas! Rest assured – we remain committed to offering FREE parking to our guests…”

Sahara Las Vegas

The upgrades were only for improving safety and the overall experience. Many still speculate that the resort will promise to uphold free parking, only to get rid of it later. Again, many other hotels in Vegas have done exactly that. On a positive note, it appears that Sahara Las Vegas is upholding their promise.

Sahara Las Vegas Parking Garages & Fees

Self- parking and valet services are free at Sahara Las Vegas for both hotel guests and visitors. Even when including charges such as resort fees, parking at Sahara is 25% – 50% cheaper than parking in non-complimentary spots on the Strip.

The resort has two garages: West and East Garage as seen in the hotel map below:

West Parking Garage Entrance:

East Parking Garage Entrance:

You can access the West Garage via the Las Vegas Boulevard and the East Garage via Paradise Road. Both have a clearance of 6’ 8” which means any vehicle above this height is not allowed into the premises – no oversized parking at Sahara.

Self-Parking

Both West and East garage offer self-parking spots. You can access the West Garage via two escalators while the East Garage has one escalator.

The facilities do not allow in-and-out privileges, meaning you can only enter and exit once per stay. The garages are standard without any bells and whistles, they are well-maintained and secure.

Valet Parking

Free valet services can be accessed with both entrances from Paradise Road and the Las Vegas Boulevard.

The Boulevard entrance is the most elegant with a porte cochère valet drop off area that is easy to get into as seen on the map.

Final Thoughts

As one of the last free parking spots on the Strip, Sahara Las Vegas is a holy grail to those looking to save a few bucks while in Vegas. The only other free parking resorts on the Strip are Treasure Island, Circus Circus (only free self-parking), and Trump International.

Of the three options, only Treasure Island offers a similar deal with an advantageous 8’ 1” clearance up to Level 2 of its garage. However, Sahara Las Vegas is comparably better because of the easy access to the Las Vegas monorail which makes it more convenient for moving about the Strip.
