Most people associate Vegas with desert scenery and blisteringly hot temperatures – and if you visit during summer, that’s exactly what you’ll get. However, during winter, the mercury drops, and at that time of year, you’re likely to encounter some surprisingly chilly weather.
Since Vegas is more of a summer destination, most hotels don’t bother with indoor pools. That said, some places do exist where indoor swimming and bathing are possible, and in this post, we have all the details you need.
No Hotels with An Indoor Pool on The Strip
To give you an idea of how hard it can be to find a hotel with an indoor pool in Vegas, there isn’t a single hotel located on the Strip that offers this amenity.
Some of the Strip hotels offer indoor spa pools (there’s a list of those at the end of this post), but these are usually no more than small soaking pools designed to accommodate around six adults.
However, these aren’t suitable for swimming or playing with kids, so they don’t qualify either.
If you want a true indoor pool, it is possible, but you’ll have to compromise and stay off-Strip – so let’s have a look at those options now.
Hotels with Indoor Pools Near the Strip
If you want to stay near the Strip and want an indoor pool, there are a few possibilities. Here are some of the best:
Embassy Suites by Hilton Convention Center Las Vegas
Located just to the east of the main Las Vegas Strip, this hotel is a great pick if you want to stay close to the action but also need an indoor pool.
This comfortable hotel is conveniently located near the Sand Expo Convention Center, which makes it a popular option with business travelers – and it’s also not far from The Park shopping mall if you feel the need for a touch of retail therapy.
Embassy Suites is a pet-friendly hotel, so you won’t have any problems if you turn up with your furry friends, and since there are no resort fees, you stand to save quite a bit of cash compared to staying at one of the more famous Las Vegas resorts.
On the downside, it’s a fairly “plain” hotel with very little Vegas glitz and glamour about it, but if you’re willing to forego that for the luxury of an indoor swim, this hotel should be high on your list of options.

Platinum Hotel & Spa
Also located a short distance to the east of the Strip, the four-star Platinum Hotel & Spa boasts a heated indoor swimming pool that connects to the outdoor one – along with a range of other amenities.
With an onsite restaurant and a bar with a rooftop terrace that offers great views of the LINQ High Roller Ferris wheel – along with a fitness center and spa – this hotel has almost everything you could want in one place.
One thing it doesn’t have is a casino, which some may consider a positive – however, the Strip and Vegas’ most famous gambling venues are only a short walk away, so you won’t have far to go if you feel like trying your luck.
Like Embassy Suites, this hotel lacks the character of the more flamboyant and ostentatious Vegas resorts, but if you prefer a more laidback hotel with an indoor pool, this is another that’s worth considering.
- Address: 211 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89169
Baymont by Wyndham Las Vegas South Strip
Most people consider the Strip proper to end after Mandalay Bay, but if you continue around three and a half miles further south – around a ten-minute drive – you’ll come to Baymont by Wyndham, another rare las Vegas hotel that boasts an indoor pool.
This hotel has its own parking, so it’s convenient if you drive to Vegas – but it’s also located close to the airport, so it’s easy to reach if you fly in too.
It’s a good option for families – and under 17s can stay for free when accompanied by their parents. Located as it is away from the Strip, it’s an excellent budget option – but it’s not far from the main sights if you want to see more of what Vegas is about.
The pool itself is relatively small – and unusually, there’s no outdoor pool for when the weather is fine. However, there is a sundeck, so you’ll still be able to catch a few rays when the sun comes out during your stay in Vegas.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Flamingo Las Vegas
The Hilton Grand Vacations Club hotel just about qualifies for our list – because alongside its more traditional outdoor pool, it also boasts a small indoor bathing area.
It has to be said that the indoor “pool” is more like a hot tub than a real swimming pool. However, it’s a particularly large one that could potentially hold up to around 15 adults, offering you a welcome retreat when the temperatures outside begin to fall.
So while it’s not a pool for splashing about in with kids, if you want a place to relax in a tub of hot water without having to go outside, this could be just the kind of hotel you’re looking for.

Hotels with Indoor Pools Away from The Strip
As well as the hotels found near the Strip, there are also a number of hotels with indoor pools located a bit further out – so let’s have a look at those now.
SpringHill Suites by Marriott Las Vegas Henderson
An affordable three-star hotel away from the Strip over in Henderson, SpringHill Suites by Marriott boasts a small indoor pool and whirlpool – and complimentary towels are included too.
The hotel is situated around 11 miles from the Strip, so it takes around 20 minutes to drive to the most famous part of town, depending on traffic.
However, for many people, the opportunity to base themselves away from the chaos and craziness of the busiest part of town is a plus.
SpringHill is an all-suite hotel, so you can expect a certain amount of luxury. However, it’s also great value for money, so it should be of interest to those heading to Vegas who don’t want to spend a fortune but who also don’t want to compromise on comfort.
- Address: 1481 Paseo Verde Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89012
Best Western Plus Las Vegas West
Not to be confused with the Best Western Plus North hotel (which only has an outdoor pool), the Best Western Plus East gives guests the chance to enjoy a heated indoor pool 24 hours a day.
Furthermore, there’s a hot tub – also open 24 hours a day – and gym facilities that include weights, cycling machines and treadmills.
The hotel is located around eight miles from the Las Vegas Strip – and there’s no on-site casino – but if you feel like playing the slots or trying your luck on the tables, Sin City’s renowned gambling venues are only a short drive away.
Since it’s located away from the Strip, the prices at this hotel are also extremely reasonable – so if you’re looking for an inexpensive yet comfortable place to stay in Vegas that also includes an indoor pool, this is another hotel to consider.
- Address: 8669 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89117
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Las Vegas Nellis
Although at 13km from the Strip, it’s situated quite a distance from the most exciting part of town, if you’re more interested in a relaxing break and access to an indoor pool and hot tub, La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham could be an ideal solution.
Also equipped with a full range of amenities such as a fitness room and a restaurant, you’ll want for nothing during your stay.
However, you’ll still be within striking distance of the main Vegas attractions if you decide you want to gamble, eat out or spend a night on the tiles in one of Vegas’ world-famous superclubs.
The pool itself is modern, clean and brightly lit, giving you a welcoming space to relax or get your swimming in during your time in Vegas.
- Address: 4288 N Nellis Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89115
Bluegreen Vacations Club 36
A little different from most of the other accommodation options in Vegas, Bluegreen Vacations Club 36 is essentially a complex that offers condos for rent.
You can choose between one- or two-bed luxury villas – or if you want to really splash the cash, it also boasts an extravagant Presidential Suite for high rollers only.
There’s a covered pool (it’s not quite an “indoor” pool, but it’s close enough), and there’s also a range of other facilities and amenities to make your stay as comfortable and as memorable as you could hope.
- Address: 372 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89169
Spa Pools on The Strip
Although we’ve already mentioned that no Strip hotels offer indoor pools in the sense of somewhere to swim or take your kids with their inflatable toys, some of the big resorts have on-site spas that include smaller adult-oriented indoor pools for soaking.
Sometimes, you might see these resorts advertised as having “indoor pools”, but this is a bit misleading since they’re nothing more than large – albeit usually highly luxurious – hot tubs.
However, depending on what you expect, these resorts could also be worth considering – especially if you only want to unwind in a luxurious tub and aren’t travelling with children.
If this sounds more like the kind of thing you’re looking for, here’s a list of the top places to check out:
- The Spa at The Venetian
- The Spa at Wynn
- Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Spa
- Spa Bellagio

A Rare Luxury – But Still Some Good Options
Due to its climate and the seasonality of its trade, Vegas is not a town with a large number of hotels that boast indoor pools.
However, if an indoor pool is high on your list of priorities, there are still some good options to pick from – and with our guide, you now have a good idea about where to start looking.
