Does the Stratosphere Offer Free Parking?
The Strat Hotel, Casino, and Skypod (formerly the Stratosphere) introduced paid parking on April 3rd 2023, making it the latest near-the-Strip hotel to get rid of free parking.
Self-parking used to be free at the Strat, for both hotel guests and visitors who were just playing at the casino or dining in one of their restaurants.
Valet parking was also free but it has always been customary to tip.
It is interesting that The Strat did not abruptly remove their complimentary parking. It started slowly a few years ago with their premium parking spaces (about 10% of their total parking space).
These spaces accounted for about a dozen or so of the best parking spots on each level (spaces close to elevators and near the walkway to the casino). Starting price was $6 for the first 4 hours.
The same prices used for their previous premium spaces were extended to the entire parking lot, inevitably introducing their complete paid parking system we know today.

The Venetian and Palazzo offered free parking until August 29, 2023.
On August 29, the hotels began charging non-registered hotel guests (visitors) for self-parking. On September 5, the same fate was extended to registered hotel guests, thereby completely doing away with free parking at the Venetian and Palazzo.
Nevada residents with valid Nevada driver’s licenses are eligible for three hours of complimentary self-parking. Grazie Rewards Premier members and above receive free self-parking, while free valet parking is only available for Grazie Rewards Elite members and above.
