Fat Tuesday Vegas: Locations, Prices, Hours

There are over 17 Fat Tuesday locations in Las Vegas, 16 of which are situated on the Vegas Strip. The only Fat Tuesday not on the Strip is located at the Neonopolis in Fremont Street, Downtown Las Vegas.

The frozen cocktail franchise has over 100 venues in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. They sell over 25 million frozen drinks each year made from 40+ different flavors.

Commonly referred to as a daiquiri bar, the Fat Tuesday stores feature similar flavors in their drinks with tiny variations across the board. Their menu and prices are also relatively the same but may vary depending on the location.

Fat Tuesday Franchise Overview: Menu, Prices, and History

Coming from the French phrase “Mardi Gras,” Fat Tuesday is a cocktail bar established in New Orleans in 1984. The original store was on Bourbon Street, where lots of partying and celebrations used to take place, including the Mardi Gras celebration held a day before Ash Wednesday, when the Christian Lent sessions begin.

Whether the franchise borrowed its name from the famous New Orleans celebrations is a matter of debate. However, it is clear that the Fat Tuesday drinks are more popular than the New Orleans-centered affair.

The idea behind the establishment is to have frozen cocktail venues that are easily accessible and sell the drinks quicker. Its drink menu has not changed much since its early inception, and it is tailored to cater to the 24/7 party people – with go-cups to carry your drinks around town.

Fat Tuesday’s only offerings are frozen drinks that make for a great refreshment in the often sunny and hot Vegas Valley. However, it is essential to note that some of the bar venues do incorporate some form of kitchen or restaurant to offer visitors quick bites.

Also, various locations do exclude or include more drink flavors than others, depending on availability/demand and size of the location.

The Fat Tuesday menu has:

  • Daiquiri Sizes – Includes various daiquiri drinks of different sizes, from 22-ounce cups to 100-ounce cups ($7 to $38). In most venues, the regular size starts at $7; insulated sports bottles for $10.25, tumblers for $14, and flash mugs for $16. Refills range from $7 to $10, depending on the size.
  • Specialty Cocktails – These vary, but popular options include the Fat Mojito made of Bacardi drinks and mixed with mint, lime, and simple syrups.
  • Beers, Wine, Non-Alcoholic – You won’t miss the regular bud and bud light beers, alongside popular wines from chardonnay to cabernet sauvignon. There are also regular non-alcoholic drinks like the energy drink red bull and bottled water brands.
  • Daiquiri Flavors – 190 Octane is the most popular in this section with a mix of grain alcohol and orange punch. There is also the Eye candy with a mix of Ron Carlos 151 rum and blue raspberry, the Strawberry with Ron Carlos 151 rum and Puréed raspberry, the Hurricane made of the Ron Carlos 151 rum and tropical fruit punch, and there is the regular margarita.
  • Daiquiri Combos – This section is where you can get to mix various flavors. There is the 44 Magnum that brings together the Hurricane flavor and 190 Octane, and the strong Superman made of Hurricane and Eye Candy.

If you drink occasionally, you may have noticed that the Fat Tuesday drinks are not the strongest. This is great for the light drinkers who are looking for a party starter without having to worry about their alcohol tolerance.

Another plus of Fat Tuesday is that they have the “Fave Combo” option, where you can make a cocktail from your own choice of flavors.
