The Circus Circus Buffet is a classic traditional Las Vegas buffet, serving brunch and dinner on select days of the week. It is located inside the Circus Circus Las Vegas, a hotel and casino known for having the largest permanent circus in the world.
Situated near the edge of the Las Vegas Strip, the buffet stands out as one of the cheapest in the metropolitan area, but whether it delivers on its promises is a whole other story. You can quickly locate the venue in the resort by heading to the first floor and following the clear signs from the hotel lobby.
You will notice the moment you enter that the buffet is small in size with an old-fashioned décor. Even at the busiest hours, you will often find the venue looking like a ghost town due to its lack of popularity on the Strip. However, don’t let this lead you into believing it has nothing to offer.
The décor is classic old-school with beige, brown, and crème accents with spread-out splashes of different colors on the building’s pillars. The lighting is warm and cozy giving guests a homey vibe that is both charming and relaxing.
The seating capacity is limited compared to what you might see in popular buffets like the Bellagio, Cosmopolitan, or Wynn Las Vegas.
Even though you immediately wish they could give it a facelift, you will quickly notice that the venue is clean and presentable with a friendly staff and charming ambiance. There are no bells or whistles here but you do get enough for what you pay for.

Brunch at the Circus Circus Buffet
Brunch is available on weekends alone.
However, it is important to note that the times change all the time and the buffet usually doesn’t publicly announce its hours on their website or social media. Regardless, you can rest assured that the lunch items will always come out at around 11:00 am.
Below are the brunch offerings:
Breakfast Dishes:
Cooked-to-order omelet section scrambled eggs with peppers and cheese, crispy bacon, sausages, flavorful breakfast potatoes with onions and pepper, biscuits and gravy, standard bread French toast with cinnamon flavoring, sausage links, oatmeal with toppings like raisins and granola, and fruits like melons and cantaloupe.
Lunch Dishes:
Fresh veggies served with a choice of baked fish, baked chicken, or mashed potatoes with gravies.
This is an underwhelming section and many guests have reported finding the venue empty during lunch hours due to their lack of variety.
Beverages:
Similar to some MGM Resort buffets, the Circus Circus buffet has convenient self-serve soda fountains for all your drink options. They also offer coffee, fresh juices, whole milk, and tea.
Dinner at the Circus Circus Buffet
Dinner is also only available on the weekends (Fri – Sun) but the schedule can change without notice so please be sure to call in advance to check their schedule.

Italian-inspired Dishes:
This section is flavorful with options like chicken parmesan, Italian sausage, freshly made pasta (with a choice of pasta like spaghetti, penne, fettuccine, and a choice of sauce like marinara, alfredo, pesto), spaghetti and meatballs, stuffed shells, and shrimp scampi.
Seafood Dishes:
There are very few selections, including mussels and clams, fried shrimp, and baked fish with spicy salsa verde.
Mexican Food:
Circus Circus might just be one of the few Vegas buffets that serve paella. Other popular Mexican offerings are the taco meat carnitas, crunchy tacos on the taco station, tamales with salsa verde, baked fish, red salsa, and greed salsa.
Carving Station:
Sadly, the carving station is the most underwhelming section of the Circus Circus buffet. The only offerings are BBQ pork ribs, ham, and roast beef.
Other Strip buffets like the Buffet at Bellagio have more exciting options like prime rib and beef steamship, but again, those are more expensive than Circus Circus.
What saves this section is the BBQ sauce used in the BBQ pork ribs, a highlight for many guests.
Sides and Accompaniments:
While the buffet offers a range of sides, many may find them to be rather unexciting. The selection includes hash brown potatoes, waffles, chicken fingers, beef stew, rice, beans, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn on the cob, baked chicken, fish and chips, jambalaya, cornbread, and corn dogs.
