Wynn & Encore Las Vegas were among the few free self-parking hotels on the Vegas Strip. That changed in September 2023 when the Wynn Resort reinstated paid self-parking, starting at $20 daily.
These new parking policy changes resulted from increased demand for parking around the Strip. The demand came about due to the launch of the MSG Sphere and the Las Vegas Formula 1 Event in late 2023.
All of this prompted many nearby hotels, including Wynn and the Venetian, to create paid parking systems.
Despite the addition of parking fees, Wynn and Encore Las Vegas still offer complimentary self-parking and valet to select members and guests of the hotels.

Wynn and Encore are two world-class sister hotels connected and located within the same sprawling resort complex.
Wynn is known for its expansive casino, an 18-hole golf course, award-winning restaurants like SW Steakhouse and Mizumi, world-class entertainment lounges & clubs, and the visually stunning Lake of Dreams.
Encore brings you over 2,000 spacious suites & rooms, the stunning Encore Beach Club known for its pool parties, acclaimed restaurants like Sinatra and Wazuzu, and a vibrant nightlife scene at the XS nightclub.
Together, Encore and Wynn Las Vegas offer an unrivaled Las Vegas experience. It is a must-visit if you are planning on touring the Vegas Strip. However, remember that parking is one of the logistical aspects that will now require careful planning.
The Strip is known to have the most expensive parking fees, with some hotels charging up to $50 on the weekends or during events. If you plan on driving around the Strip to visit several attractions, you may spend a hefty amount on parking.
Wynn & Encore’s complimentary self-parking to many Vegas guests was a much-needed money savor. Well, at least it was before September 2023 when Wynn Resorts, the owners of Wynn and Encore Las Vegas, released a statement announcing the reinstated self-parking fees for non-resort guests.
Does Wynn Have Free Parking?
The statement dated September 8, 2023, noted that self-parking fees would be reinstated for non-resort guests starting Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 7 a.m.
The first four hours were free for all guests but this changed to three hours for non-registered hotel guests. Afterward, self-parking costs a flat fee of $20 per day.
You see, Wynn & Encore has had a rollercoaster of a journey when it comes to paid parking.
Before July 2018, the resort charged guests for self-park and valet. This was in line with the trend sweeping the Vegas Strip at the time, where all major hotels in the region shifted to paid parking to provide better services for their guests.
However, on July 1, 2018, Wynn said no to all fees, creating a complimentary self-park and valet system where hotel guests could park at no cost. Non-hotel guests could also park for free but had to first get their tickets validated by spending at least $50 at Wynn or Encore.
All was glorious until Wynn Resorts removed the complimentary valet before 2023. The new valet charges were $35 per day on weekdays and $40 per day on weekends.
The latest development in all of these changes is the September 2023 statement that came in a few weeks after the Venetian Las Vegas also did away with their free paid parking in anticipation of the opening of the MSG Sphere and the Las Vegas Formula One Event in November 2023.
In the statement, Wynn Resorts said, “The new parking policy is a result of the anticipated increased demand for parking at nearby attractions and a higher volume of city-wide events.”
Even though it was stated explicitly, it is clear that Wynn & Encore got rid of free parking since the opening of the MSG Sphere at the Venetian Las Vegas necessitated the introduction of paid parking in nearby facilities, including Wynn & Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, and the Venetian Convention & Expo Center.
The Sphere on the Strip is the largest spherical entertainment venue in the world. It was bound to attract many visitors, and this prompted Strip hotels to offer paid parking for their guests to attract the right clientele for their establishment during the surge of traffic.
According to Wynn Resort, “The program is intended to ensure ample, free parking is available for guests to visit and enjoy the resort’s dining, entertainment, and shopping amenities.”
Wynn And Encore Las Vegas Self-Parking Fees
Please note that the self-parking fees only apply to non-resort guests. Complimentary self-parking is still available to all registered Wynn & Encore guests, Tower Suite guests, Wynn Poker Room guests, Private Access members, and Wynn Rewards members in the Chairman, Platinum, and Black tiers.
The same self-parking fees for Wynn self-park garage also apply to Encore, just in case you were asking, ‘Does Encore Vegas have free parking?’.

Also, prices may be higher than usual during holidays, events, and celebrations. Valet is subject to availability.
In 2023, valet was $35 per day on weekdays and $40 per day on weekends. However, this was changed in 2024 to a $40 per day flat fee from Monday to Sunday.
Complimentary valet parking is only available to hotel guests staying in the Tower Suites of Wynn & Encore, Wynn Rewards Black and Chairman Card Members, Private Access guests, and Delilah’s registered hotel guests.
