In Vegas, from bars and nightclubs to shows and casinos, there’s so much entertainment on offer that it’s easy to become a little jaded with it all.
However, for those who want to try something a bit different, a drag brunch could be just the kind of experience you’re looking for – and here’s the lowdown on all the best shows in town.
What’s a Drag Brunch?
Before we talk about the best drag brunches in Vegas, let’s take a step back and ask a more basic question – what is a drag brunch?
For some time now, drag shows have been becoming increasingly popular. They feature drag queens and kings dressed in flamboyant and sometimes outrageous costumes, singing, dancing, lip-syncing and generally entertaining the audience with lots of jokes in between.
The drag brunch is an offshoot of this idea, with the show taking place as diners enjoy a brunch, often with copious drinks too.
They originally appeared in traditional gay areas in cities with large LGBT communities, but nowadays, they are just as popular with those on bachelorette parties and the like – or even among heterosexual couples who just want to try a new experience.
In Vegas, there are quite a few drag brunches available, with several upmarket versions on offer – and many offering bottomless drinks with the price of entry.
Expect fabulous costumes, bawdy humor, celebrity impersonations, audience interaction – and a whole lot of laughs.
